Vicki Gets Around

kate, James and the Plovers!!

Most of you know i've left Sydney now and finally made a break from the evil resort!! It was the most beautiful place ever but tough as hell! I have left with some great friends though - especially Kate (above) who is the head of Tours and Activities for the 3 NSW resorts. She was a godsend, letting me stay at her house, getting me out of housekeeping and being stupid enough to let me work in Kids Club, making me laugh all the time and of course for actually getting me out the resort!!! Im very lucky to have met her. Amee, Jess, Prue, Marcus, Marta and Simone were also fantastic and im going to miss them heaps as well.
The other photo's are of my friend James - a stereotypical Mancunian 20year old but a wicked guy none the less!! We met in Sydney but he's now in Perth as well which is great.
The other handsome fellow is Dan who most of you will remember from when I was last here. He and his sister Marie (who refused to let me put a pic on the site of her!) have been wonderful and are letting me stay with them in their mansion while im here. Im a very lucky girl! (Thanks again guys!)

My friend Stormy took these wildlife shots of our resident Plover birds! Mummy Plover was sitting outside my first cabin waiting for the 4 chicks to be born so we've been watching them grow up!
As for the Dolphins - this was on the boat between hawks Nest and Broughton Island - there are about 80 who live in the area. The day after this shot was taken I was lucky enough to see them in the Myall river which was amazing as they were so close. Although working at Myall Shores has been hell on earth, I have to admit that the place is the most beautiful place i've ever seen!
